Max's Package Store!

In 1920, Max Wilensky started a general store on Flanders Four Corners in East Lyme, CT. Specializing in hay, grain, shoes, and boots, he ran a very successful retail store and even found time to brew a little beer. In 1946, he had the idea to open a liquor store and asked his son, Leo, to run it for the family. Since then, Max's has been a fixture on that very same corner. Now run by Liza Wilensky, the fourth generation Wilensky, Max's proudly continues its legacy in the heart of East Lyme.

Always the same friendly staff willing to help you if your stuff is heavy or ordering more of a wine that they ran out of. They carry a lot of different things which is fantastic for those who want to try new items. This is the only place I go for adult beverages!
